As I have said repeatedly, I can effect change upon the Templars, as the Templar order is strictly a Ferelden/Orlais institution, I cannot change the mages - there will always be Tevinter, and their mages/rulers to contend with, and it is the Templars (or an order similar to Templars) that have kept them from subjugating the rest of the world
